Background

Back in 2000, Peter Dodd discovered the life settlement asset class.The investment offered significant risk-reduction by investing in existing United States life insurance policies.In 2003, after three years of due diligence, Fortress Management launched its first life settlement fund.  The Fund was developed to bridge the opportunities within longevity investments with investors seeking exposure to alternative asset classes uncorrelated to global equities.  Ten years later Fortress has one of the longest running funds in the asset class and is continuously expanding to improve their investment solutions with the shareholders interests always to the fore.
